2.2 We may also retrieve your information from the Income Tax Department's portal including your prefilled ITR data, tax credit information and filing history, with your explicit authorization.

03 How We Use Your Information

3.1 We use your information for the following purposes:

• To verify your identity and complete KYC requirements
• To prepare, validate and file your income tax return
• To communicate with you regarding your filing status
• To send you reminders about upcoming tax deadlines

04 Information Sharing

• Income Tax Department of India — for the purpose of filing your ITR as your authorized ERI
• Technology partners and service providers — who assist us in operating our Platform, bound by strict confidentiality obligations
• Legal and regulatory authorities — when required by law, court order or government directive
• Corporate clients (B2B) — only with your prior written consent in cases where your employer or company has engaged us for bulk filing

4.2 In the event of a merger, acquisition or restructuring of our business, your information may be transferred to the acquiring entity, subject to the same privacy protections.

05 ERI and Income Tax Department

5.1 As an authorized Electronic Return Intermediary (ERI) registered with the Income Tax Department, we interact with the Income Tax Department's systems on your behalf. The Income Tax Department may independently retain your data as per their own policies and applicable laws.

5.2 The OTP sent to you during the filing process is sent directly by the Income Tax Department and is not accessed or stored by us.

06 Data Retention

6.1 We retain your information for as long as necessary to provide our services and comply with applicable laws.

6.2 Tax-related records are retained for a minimum of 7 years as required under Indian tax laws.

6.3 You may request deletion of your account and personal data by writing to us. However, we may retain certain information as required by law.
